RED88

Your business has been flat for a while. We fix that from the inside, and we don't get paid unless it works.

No invoice, no monthly retainer. Cory and Liam take equity and go to work inside your business, the same way we've been doing for the past year inside PJ's Liquor Store.

No obligation. The call is just to see if there's a fit.

How the partnership actually works

Step 1

The discovery

We look at what you spend your time on and where the business is stuck. No pitch, no obligation. If there's no alignment, we'll tell you on the call.

Step 2

We agree on equity, not a fee

If it's a fit, we take a stake in the business instead of billing you. We don't get paid unless the business gets better because of the work.

Step 3

We get to work inside the business

We're not consultants who hand you a report and leave. We work with you and implement the changes ourselves, the same way we've been improving PJ's Liquor Store for the past year.

Are we the right partners for you?

Equity, not an invoice. We take a stake in your business instead of billing you by the hour or the month. When the business grows, we grow with it.
We work inside the business, not from outside it. We're not going to send you a set of recommendations and let you execute them. We work with you to implement the systems, the marketing, and the hiring.
We stay. This isn't a project with an end date. We've been operating partners inside PJ's Liquor Store for over a year, and we're still there, always improving the business as it grows.
Two operators, not a firm. It's Cory and Liam. Those are the two people you'd be working with directly, not an account manager assigned to your file.
We say no when it's not a fit. If we don't see a real path to alignment, we'll tell you on the call.

Who we're looking for

You don't need to sell to fix this. You need help running it.

Revenue has plateaued, and nothing you've tried in the last year or two has moved it.
The same customers keep coming back. You can't remember the last time someone new walked in.
There's no playbook for the day to day. It all lives in your head, or your staff's, and nothing runs unless one of you is standing there.
Most of your week goes to whatever broke today, not to your plan for scaling the business.
You already know what the business needs. You just don't have the hours and the capacity to build it.
You started this to build something. Lately it feels like it's running you instead of the other way around.

If most of this sounds like your week, we should talk.

PJ's Liquor Store, Cold Lake, Alberta

Cory and Liam have been operating partners here for the past year. This is what changed.

  • The store used to run on manual habit. Now the day to day runs without either of us having to be standing there to hold it together.
  • Revenue and profit both moved, and they've kept moving, not just for one good month.
  • We built a marketing engine that brings new faces into the store every day, not just the regulars who were already coming in.
  • We hired the people the store actually needed, and built a team that actually wants to be there.

A year ago this was a struggling liquor store one person was holding together alone. Today it runs like a business that could keep going even if neither of us walked in tomorrow.

This is what a year of partnership looks like. Always improving the store as it levels up.

If you have questions, we might have answers

What does the partnership actually look like?

You keep ownership of your business. We take an equity stake in exchange for the work, we don't buy you out and we don't take over decisions. Cory and Liam work inside the business alongside you and your team on systems, marketing, and hiring, the same things we've been doing at PJ's Liquor Store for the past year.

What do you change first?

Almost always systems. If the day to day still runs on manual habit and whoever happens to be in the room, that gets fixed first. Once that's off your plate, we move to marketing and bringing in new customers, then the team.

Why would I trust two guys I found on Facebook with equity in my business?

Fair question. We don't get paid unless the business does better, so we have no reason to do a half job and disappear. We're also not asking you to decide anything on the first call. It's a conversation about your numbers and your business. If there's no real alignment, we'll say so, and that's the end of it.

Worth a conversation?

Most business owners who read this will keep running things exactly the way they have been. That's fine, this isn't for everyone. But if you're tired of holding the whole thing up by yourself and you'd rather have two people in it with you, equity and all, book a call. We'll look at your business and tell you what we see. If there's no real fit, we'll say so. Nothing else is asked of you.
